Andrew Skinner is a solicitor practising UK, EU and international trade law, including export controls and sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, ethics and customs law, with a particular focus on providing clients with clear and pragmatic advice.
Andrew is a recognised trade compliance expert, and has significant operational experience in the development and implementation of end-to-end trade compliance programmes, as well as the management of regulatory investigations and enforcement.
Andrew is also a trained engineer (UK Ministry of Defence) and has worked in various industry sectors, including defence, electronics, precision investment casting and automotive.
Andrew holds a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree. He was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2007 and is an unregistered barrister (not permitted to provide legal services as a barrister), Andrew subsequently sat the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT) and was admitted as a practising solicitor in 2012. He is also a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET).
